Easy Filet Recipe
2 8oz filets
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 thin slices of butter
On an oiled high heat skillet, place both filets in the pan. Sprinkle half of the salt and pepper onto the top side of the steak. For medium rare, cook each side for 4 minutes. Flip steaks once desired tenderness achieved. Sprinkle the remainder of salt and pepper. In the last minute of cooking, place butter slices on each steak. Once cooking is complete, turn heat off and cover for 30 seconds. Let steak rest for 3 minutes before serving.
